THE ROCKLAND GREEN EXPERIENCE is a 1,500 sq. ft. recycling education center scheduled to open in the spring of 2026. The center includes multiple interactive exhibits that follow the process of recycling from residential collection and special handling to new manufactured products. A fully immersive theater inside a simulated container offers a show select for three different wide screen presentations tailored to different age audiences. Controlled lighting with 5.1 sound-around and vibrating benches lend to the full sensory experience.

Rockland Green offers an extensive range of services in recycling, special handling of household hazardous waste, composting and bio-waste. This centralize facility will be a one-stop experience to introduce visitors to how these services fit into a circular economy and an environmental initiative.
