With over 15,000 square feet of exhibits, this national museum on women’s history and issues combines traditional and innovative techniques to interpret the changing roles of women in American history. State-of-the-art technology, combined with traditional object-based displays, reveal the complex and dynamic history of women in the United States. Interactive computer stations, media presentations, audio environments, and HD videos are all integrated into the exhibits.
In addition to designing the exhibits and collateral graphic material used in fundraising and publications, Whirlwind provided all the curatorial research and content development for the exhibits, directed and managed the audio visual production and engineering as well as supervised the production and installation of all exhibit components.
