In collaboration with the New York Historical Society, Whirlwind created a concept for a new vertical museum at Ground Zero, based on a descent from Ground Zero and moving back in time. Based on a design by Daniel Libeskind, Whirlwind infused his architecture with a journey through time, forwards and backwards: a kind of New York City-centric time machine.
